Happy New Year

It had been a sinful weekend. 2 pcs of KFC, 2 soft drinks, 1 pint of beer. Theres only one way to burn off those calories. Wake up early and run run run.

New Year Resolution. I am never good at keeping them so nevermind. All I wish is a peaceful 2007 and less shit work for me. Health for my family, wealth is secondary.

Well didnt do as well as I would like. I blame the rain for bad form. Though I improve my 2.4km speed by 1 min. but I am still 59secs from a passing grade. Sigh.

Rain Rain Go Away

Rest Day :(

Its been raining since the wee early hours and still raining now. So sad cant run today. To make things worse, cant even spare some time during work to hit the gym at the office. Work kept flooding in literally.

During the rainy season, my family has a habit of eating steamboat for dinner, which I am getting quite sick of. I am trying to cut down on the calorie intake and they are definately not helping.

To market, to market.

Xmas Day, time to unwrap the presents. All I got was a miserable shirt. Took the Missus for a morning jog before heading to market to get ...... oats.

Warmup - walk/jog to Jurong West Stadium
Striding - 4 laps of 400m
Cooldown - carrying so many plastic bags very tiring u know

The striding is so tiring I was practically walking at the end of lap4, maybe I can mix it together with the interval training. total mileage 1.6km.

Lap1 - 400m-01:40, 400m slow jog
Lap2 - 400m-01:50, 400m slow jog
Lap3 - 400m-02:15, 400m slow jog
Lap4 - 400m-02:05
Cooldown - 1km jog home

by the end of the Lap4, my shins are hurting bad. so much for nb755's superb cushioning. guess i havent wacked hard enuf yet. total milelage is 3.8km.
